The Challenge: How to update the branding of this local salon in its new premises.
The end result: Jazz has a diverse and loyal consumer base, with over 50% of their clientele male. By talking to customers as they had their hair/nails etc done we uncovered what made Jazz special which, when combined with “looks” that the salon owner liked, helped set the style and tone.
A modern fresh, not too girlie style was called for, Hypatia Sans Pro font in grey and white compliments reclaimed wood and accents of green for the new branding. This was rolled this out to the bis cards, vouchers, handmade signage for the front of the salon, window decals, and smart new workwear for the team.
We set up a new fresh, professional looking brochure website with benefit led statements and bespoke photography from Boxfish. It features models who were clientele of the salon, their hair and nails were styled by the team beforehand to reflect exactly what the salon delivers. Overall, this has brought the salon bang up to date and it reflects the quality of their service.
